John Denver, a singer-songwriter who hails from Colorado who specialized in folk pop music has touched the hearts of millions. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was born in Roswell New Mexico. However, he was enthralled by Colorado. He eventually made his way to Aspen. Denver's state anthems are a source of inspiration for many to visit Colorado. G. Brown of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame says it is true that John Denver is unlike any other musician who represents Colorado. Denver is the Hall of Fames' inaugural inductee was recognized by the honor in 2011. He is now the international face of Colorado. While traveling, I may meet people at opposite sides of the planet. For example people from New Zealand. And when you tell them you're Colorado-based, Colorado people will respond with "Oh John Denver!" Brown stated. Denver's debut Top 10 hit as a solo artist after a short period of performing with small folk bands comprised of Take Me Home Country Roads written by Bill Danoff. Danoff had Johnny Cash as the inspiration for the song, but Denver realized that it could be a huge hit after he heard an earlier version. Following the performance at Washington D.C. to a huge crowd, the singer made a recording a few days from now.
